Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the insulin receptor superfamily. ALK catalyzes the transfer of gamma-phosphate groups from adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to tyrosine residues on substrate proteins. It is mainly expressed in the nervous system and is closely related to the occurrence of tumors.
