RG14620 (Tyrphostin RG14620) is an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor.

RG-14620以剂量依赖的方式抑制由50 ng/mL EGF刺激的HER 14细胞的集落形成和DNA合成。RG-14620对HER 14细胞集落形成的IC50为3 μM，对HER 14 DNA合成的IC50为1 pM[1]。同时，RG-14620也能剂量依赖性地抑制EGF刺激的MH-85细胞的集落形成和DNA合成。RG-14620对MH-85细胞的IC50分别为集落形成4 μM和DNA合成1.25 μM[1]。

RG-14620，每天每只裸鼠给药200 μg，能够抑制裸鼠体内MH-85肿瘤的生长。与未经治疗的MH-85肿瘤携带动物相比，用药的裸鼠表现出较少的恶病质和高钙血症，食欲增加，并且活动性增强[1]。

RG14620 is dissolved in 100% DMSO and diluted with the culture medium before addition to the cells. MH-85 and HER 14 cells are cultured in the medium in the presence or absence of increasing concentrations of RG-13022 or RG-14620 for 10 days. At the end of culture, the cells are fixed with 4% (v/v) formaldehyde in calcium-magnesium-free phosphate-buffered saline for 15 min at room temperature and stained with hematoxylin. Numbers of colonies including more than 20 cells in each well are counted under the microscope[1].
