Utilizing poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microspheres loaded with OP-145 effectively prevents biofilm formation in a mouse model of bone infection, which is initiated by surgical femoral fracture and subsequent bacterial inoculation at the fracture site. |
