FTO-IN-8, also known as FTO-43, is an inhibitor of N6-methyladenosine demethylase FTO (fat mass- and obesity-associated protein). It exhibits an IC50 value of 5.5 μM and displays anti-cancer cell proliferative activity [1].

FTO-IN-8 (FTO-43) (0-50 μM, 24-72 h) inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells with no cytotoxicity to normal colonic cells [1]. FTO-IN-8 (FTO-43) can increase m 6 A and m 6 A m levels and inhibits Wnt/PI3K-Akt signaling in gastric cancer AGS cells [1].
