研究⼈员利⽤名为 SURF 的新型荧光报道分⼦，实时监测活细胞中冠状病毒 SARS-CoV-2 的 Spike 蛋⽩与宿主受体ACE2的相互作⽤。通过对 TargetMol 天然产物库进⾏⾼通量筛选，研究发现三种天然产物在 Vero 细胞和⼈原代⿐⽀⽓管上

⽪细胞中能有效阻断 SARS-CoV-2 及其 Delta 和 Omicron 变体的复制。其中，bruceine A（ T2S2046 ）和 gamabufotalin（T4A2456 ）表现出显著的抗病毒活性，能降低⼩⿏肺部和脑部的病毒滴度，并减少肺部炎症，从⽽抑制疾病进展。

在针对多发性⻣髓瘤（ MM ）的研究中，研究⼈员通过对 TargetMol FDA 上市药物库（ L4200 ）和天然产物库（ L6000 ）进⾏荧光素酶筛选实验，发现天然产物 Lanatoside C（ LanC ）能够阻⽌ c-Maf 的去泛素化，并破坏 Otub1 与 c-Maf 的相互作⽤，从⽽诱导了表达 c-Maf 的MM细胞凋亡，有效抑制了 MM 的⽣⻓并延⻓了模型⼩⿏的⽣存期。该研究证实 Otub1/c-Maf 轴是 MM 的潜在治疗靶点。
