Mapracorat is a novel non-steroidal selective agonist of glucocorticoid receptor.
体外活性
Mapracorat concentration-dependently inhibited TNFα secretion from activated canine PBMC (IC50: approximately 0.2 nM).
体内活性
Intradermal injection of compound 48/80 (50 μg in 50 μL saline) caused a clear wheal and flare reaction over the 60 min observation period. Compared to a vehicle (acetone) treated areas, topical pre-treatment with mapracorat (0.1%) induces a significant reduction in the wheal and flare responses.
